This position focuses on providing technical expertise and hands-on support for process automation, system installation, and maintenance activities to optimize production efficiency and reliability. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, implement upgrades, and integrate new technologies into existing manufacturing execution systems (MES). The successful candidate will contribute to project management efforts by coordinating tasks, timelines, and resources to meet operational goals. Ultimately, this role drives the enhancement of manufacturing processes through innovative automation solutions that support business growth and operational excellence.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven experience in process automation and system integration within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and building automation technologies.
Demonstrated ability to perform system installation, maintenance, and debugging effectively.
Experience with project management principles and tools relevant to engineering projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or automation technologies.
Experience with advanced manufacturing systems and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Familiarity with programming languages used in automation such as PLC, SCADA, or similar platforms.
Prior experience working in a large-scale manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automated manufacturing systems, including MES and building automation platforms.
Lead and assist in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of new automation equipment and system integrations.
Perform regular system maintenance and debugging to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams to develop and implement process automation improvements.
Manage project timelines, resources, and documentation related to automation initiatives and system upgrades.

Skills:The required skills are applied daily to analyze and optimize automated manufacturing processes, ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably. Process automation expertise enables the engineer to design and implement solutions that reduce manual intervention and increase throughput. Project management skills are essential for coordinating complex automation projects, managing timelines, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Debugging and system maintenance skills are critical for quickly identifying and resolving technical issues to minimize production disruptions. Additionally, knowledge of MES, system integration, and building automation allows the engineer to seamlessly connect various components of the manufacturing environment, driving operational excellence and innovation.
