DUTIES: Responsible for working as Packaging Operator and Mechanic at the same time. Perform primary corrective maintenance to all mechanical equipment in the packaging area of Building 41. Responsible to perform packaging equipment activities in accordance to established log sheets, SOP'S, CGMP'S, and EHS Regulations. This position must comply with all Security Guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations and cGMP’s. 1. Operates all packaging equipments and keep standard productivity in accordance to specifications. 2. Provides troubleshooting, installation, repair and corrective maintenance to the packaging equipment and refers major troubleshooting to the Production Maintenance Specialist. 3. Works together with Production Maintenance Technicians/Specialists for productivity improvement,troubleshooting and maintenance of the packaging equipment. 4. Installs and/or assist the installation of electric, electronic and pneumatic packaging equipment to include sensing and control devices, recorders, indicators, piping, wiring, supports, brackets, hangers and any other necessary for a complete installation. 5. Performs changeover & set-ups to all packaging equipment and assist the Production Maintenance Technicians/Specialists to perform troubleshooting of defective packaging equipment indicating parts to be replaced and/or to be repaired. 6. Performs clean-up of packaging machine parts according to specifications and cleans packaging equipment according to standard operating procedures. 7. Assures housekeeping, proper documentation and good operation conditions at the end of the shift. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Associate Degree in Electronic Industrial Mechanic, Electronic and/or Mechanical Engineering from a credited college. • Minimum 2 years experience as packaging operator and exposure to mechanical, electronic, instrumental work on pharmaceutical industries. • Ability to read technical equipment manuals (Spanish and English).• Leadership skills • Ability to train personnel• Excellent interpersonal skills and team work oriented, able to work under pressure• Strong knowledge in the installation, repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, electronic, and computerized equipment.**Weil Group is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.*
