Works with internal team to develop financial forecasts. The Principal Specialist Planner plays a critical role in enhancing customer satisfaction and operational performance across Collins Aerospace' global business. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Product Management, Logistics, Value Stream and Customer to develop accurate demand schedules, optimize inventory, and ensure alignment between market needs and manufacturing capacity. By translating complex data into actionable insights, you will help drive on-time delivery, assist in development and execution of the business unit sales plan, and strengthen overall business responsiveness. This role is ideal for a proactive, analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative manufacturing environment.This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.What You Will DoCreate and execute plan for every part and maintain master data for purchased parts, subassemblies, end items and other parts as requiredFacilitate the capacity management process, including identification and escalation of long term capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SI&OPExecute continuous management of the master demand schedule, including adherence to all required validations using the best information available, in order to provide long range OE and aftermarket demand visibility in support of financial planning, internal and external capacity management, and the overall SI&OP processMonitor the transportation and delivery of inter/interplant parts and outbound finished products.
