You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of systems and components, and you will contribute to the advancement of aviation technology. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation in the aerospace industry and make a significant impact on the future of flight.You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location on a hybrid work schedule.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core Displays Platform on the Next Generation Avionics Platform
  • Systems/software requirements development, validation, integration or verification
  • Creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements
  • Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
  • Knowledge of system certification requirements and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and components
  • Conduct testing and validation of systems to ensure performance and reliability
  • Analyze data and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in aerospace technology
Up to 50% travel can be expected.US PERSONDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering role
  • 3+ years in system design and integration
  • Ability to speak, write and read English

  • Model based system design (using Simulink, preferred)
  • ARINC 661 graphics development (using SCADE, preferred)
