*Overview*The Branch Director is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and operational performance of our branches. This role functions as the senior leader of every branch, responsible for driving loan production, deposit growth, and delivering exceptional member experience while ensuring compliance with all credit union policies and regulatory requirements.The Branch Director leads the branch team, develops business relationships in the community, and supports the credit union's strategic initiatives.*Key Responsibilities*_Branch Leadership_
  • Lead, motivate, and develop branch staff to achieve high levels of performance and member service.
  • Establish performance goals aligned with the credit union's strategic objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
_Business Development_
  • Drive loan production, deposit growth, and membership expansion.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen relationships with existing members.
  • Promote credit union products including consumer loans, auto loans, mortgages, and deposit services.
  • Represent the credit union in community and networking events.
_Member Experience_
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality service to all members.
  • Resolve escalated member concerns effectively and professionally.
  • Promote financial solutions that meet members' financial needs.
_Operational Oversight_
  • Ensure branch operations comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee cash controls, operational procedures, and security protocols.
  • Monitor operational efficiency and workflow within the branch.
  • Partner with IT leadership to support core system optimization, digital banking initiatives, and operational automation.
_Performance Monitoring_
  • Monitor branch performance indicators including: Loan production, Deposit growth, Member growth and Cross-selling results
  • Report branch performance to senior management.
*Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum *5–7 years of experience in financial institutions*.
  • At least *3 years in branch management or supervisory leadership*.
  • *Fully bilingual (English and Spanish)*.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Business development and relationship management abilities.
  • Knowledge of credit union or banking operations.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
