- Design, develop, code, and test, and software solutions for avionics display systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, design software architectures, and implement software modules

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 8+ years of experience creating test cases for software, based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements
- 8+ years of experience with software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred)
- 8+ years of experience with firmware & driver development experience
- 8+ years of software architecture design and embedded C++ coding experience
- Ability to write, read and speak English
- Understanding various software development life cycles, methodologies and tools
- Proficiency in programming languages such Ada, Python and/or Open GL, as well as real-time operating systems (RTOS) and software development tools
- Object oriented development experience
- Touch & gesture development experience
- Multithreading/Multicore processing experience
- Experience in any of the following is a PLUS:
- Avionics products, i.e. Avionics Displays & Graphics, Flight Management, Autopilot, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc
- Understanding of User Application development
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
