- External Key customers, suppliers, and contractors.
- May also interface with auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory entities as required.
- Provides analytical support to management, including P&L projections, ratio analysis, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Prepares financial and management reports.
- Collects, organizes, evaluates and analyzes complex financial data and information.
- Analyzes journal entries, accruals, and allocated expenses, and closely interacts with the accounting team.
- Reviews and prepares annual budgets, strategic business plans, and forecasts of operations.
- Develops financial reports and forecasts, analyzes trends, and reports results to management.
- Evaluates the financial viability of capital investment projects.
- Provides analysis of profitability variance, cost/expense problems, profit improvement opportunities, and recommendations for corrective actions and resource allocations.
- Reviews and analyzes monthly operational and financial results.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of the financial condition of the business and the overall financial climate of the companys industry.
- Identifies critical factors in new business/program opportunities affecting profitability and evaluates the potential of the proposed venture to achieve profit results consistent with the companies goals.
- Recommends changes to the planning process and reporting systems to streamline procedures, improve productivity and quality, and reduce costs.
- Communicates results and recommendations to management.
- Ensures timely and accurate delivery of reports aligned with business priorities.
- Performs other duties, as assigned by the Financial Planning Director.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, required.
- Masters Degree, preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge and experience in the accounting, audit firm, banking or finance industry.
- Experience working with financial models, NPV, IRR and sensitivity analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to contribute reports and financial recommendations.
- Must have good organizational and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrates high-level achievement standards.

- Demonstrates ease in the establishment of processes.
- Monitors, collects, and revises information. Evaluates results of assignments and projects.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying and solving business problems.
- Advanced knowledge in Windows and Office (Excel, PowerPoint). BI experience ideal.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Oracle Fusion among others. JD Edwards/Oracle experience is highly desirable.
- Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish), both orally and written, required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
