ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent opening for a full-time Food & Beverage Supervisor for the Food & Beverage Department at Coliseo de Puerto Rico.SUMMARYThis position Supervises the F&B attendants, Bartenders and Concession Workers and ensures that ASM service standards meet client's needs. Supports and coordinates the F&B department efforts to keep correct use and functionality of the F&B areas. Collaborates with other departments to prevent, control and assess possible risk to the Venue F&B areas.ESSENTIAL DUTIESInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Assist Manager with schedules, supervise, and direct servers, bartenders, and concessionaires' staff in performing stocking, inventory, and check preparation for concessions.
Oversee assigned Food & Beverage functions from origination to execution
Assist Manager with all tasks related to Food and Beverage warehouse duties including and not limited to supervision of the F&B Supervisors.
Compute department sales statistics, monthly forecasts, annual forecasts, and weekly purchase orders.

Ensure the proper set up of the concessions and bars.
Responsible for food, beverage, and service procurement.
Ensure that team members conform to Coliseo policies and procedures with reference to rules, safety, sanitation, etc.
Responsible for the efficiency and productivity of the F&B employees.
Monitor the client's needs throughout the event to ensure customer satisfaction and communicate any changes to the proper departments including but not limited to the culinary department, security, and event services.
Organize all concession services to include but not limited to staffing, event schedule, menu selection, stand layout, cleaning, register and menu board programming.

Responsible for coordinating the required maintenance of the F&B areas in accordance with the guidance of the operations department.
Creates and manage incidents reports of Food and Beverage Quality, Miss use of the Venues areas, Employee Manual violations, among others.

Associate degree
At least 1 year of previous hospitality management experience required
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Food Handling and Alcohol Awareness Certifications

Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills essential
Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills
Familiarity with Food Handling and related state and federal regulations required
Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights and holidays
Strong customer service orientation
Bilingual – English and Spanish

Computer Skills

Proficient in F&B Software, Micros preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Food Handling Certification
Alcohol Awareness Certification
