Pharmacy Technician - San Juan, PRCompensation: $15 - $18 per hour DOEOverview: Nexus HR is looking for a Pharmacy Technician with strong experience in prescription billing and experience working in a pharmacy for at least two years. The right candidate will be an on-site pharmacy technician.Client-highlighted qualifications - The candidate should have experience working in a pharmacy and strong expertise in prescription typing and claims billing and fully bilingual in English and Spanish.Duties and Responsibilities:

Enter and maintain prescription data using our computer system
Prescription Billing and reconciliation
Answer incoming phone calls and field patient questions
Contact insurance companies for claims resolution
May need to contact doctor’s offices or hospitals to clarify prescription information.
Answer clients questions and address customer service issues when they arise
Learn our computerized software in order to train staff at our partner locations
Perform the usual tasks of a Pharmacy Technician from a call center without directly handling medications.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Pharmaceutical Technology (bachelor’s degree preferred)
2+ years of experience working in a pharmacy
At least a year of experience in prescription billing
Willing to be trained and train new staff on our pharmacy software.
Exemplary verbal communication and customer service skills
Must possess valid state certification
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish)
Able to work in San Juan, PR
