- Manage and collaborate in project’s life cycle helping to solve complex business issues or improve processes guided by an experienced mentor and contributing to Oriental’s business results.
- Work with individuals and teams across Oriental Bank by engaging in ongoing collaboration, consultation, and relationships with internal and external client groups.
- Assess needs and opportunities through various methodologies. Propose and implement solutions to achieve our digital transformation, increased productivity and efficiency through data-driven solutions and recommendations.
- Challenge assumptions, design, enhance and operate within risk management and compliance procedures.
- Be enrolled at an accredited university or college required. Undergrad students with expected graduation dates before May 2025 are highly preferred.
- Master's and Doctorate students as well as females are encouraged to apply.
- Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems and/or related majors required. Other majors can be considered.
- Previous Internship / Co-op experience highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, innovation, influence and decision-making skills required.
- Digital and financial skills preferred.
- Have a project and process mindset with detail-orientation who can manage timelines for optimum productivity, effectiveness, and quality.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including MS Office (Work, Excel & Power Point) required. Working knowledge and exposure to databases, visualization, querying, and other tools preferred
- Tools preferred from some roles: knowledge of databases, visualization, querying, and other tools preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Spanish required.
- Availability to work on-site, hybrid and on a remote basis required. Availability to travel, highly preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship required.
