- Lead the Project Management Office (PMO): Lead the PMO and oversee project delivery activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling of projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Develop and Implement Project Management Policies, Standards, and Methodologies: Develop and implement project management policies, standards, and methodologies to standardize project management practices across the organization and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Provide Strategic Direction and Guidance: Provide strategic direction and guidance to project managers and project teams, ensuring projects are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor Project Portfolio Performance: Monitor project portfolio performance to ensure projects are delivering the expected business value and are aligned with business goals. Take corrective actions as necessary to address any issues or risks.
- Report on Project Status, Budget, and Risks: Prepare and present regular reports on project status, budget, and risks to senior management, providing visibility into project performance and highlighting areas that require attention.
- Manage Key Strategic Projects: Manage key strategic projects with the assistance of project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance project delivery capabilities, identify and implement best practices, and improve overall project performance.
- Perform Any Other Related Function: Undertake any other related function not previously outlined, as directed by supervisors or required to meet the objectives of the position and the needs of the company.
- Bachelor’s Degree: Possess a bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred to demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in the field.
- Experience: Have 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the IT or heavy machinery rental industry, showcasing the ability to lead and manage complex projects and teams effectively.
- Leadership Skills: Possess strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate project teams, drive change, and achieve project goals.
- Experience in Managing Large-Scale IT Transformation Projects: Have experience in managing large-scale IT transformation projects, demonstrating the ability to develop and execute strategic project plans, manage project budgets and resources, and mitigate risks effectively.
- Proficiency in Project Management Software: Demonstrate expertise in using project management software to assist in project planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Be fully proficient in using the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to create and maintain project documentation and reports.
