Sr Field Service Specialist

- Installation, performance maintenance, troubleshoot and support Waters' product suite of Mass Spectrometer product line including tandem quadrupole and time of flight instruments along with LC, HPLC/UPLC, Informatics
- Perform customer trainings in technical applications such as: Nitrosamines, Pesticides, Drugs of abuse, Oligo’s
- Travel to different countries in the Latin America region at least 40% of the time
- Coordinate directly with the Distributor and Customer installations and applications training
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with external and internal customers ensuring their success
- Manage customer expectations, by communicating work performed and providing follow up plan if needed
- Ensure customer compliance regulations are followed
- Deliver system level training at customer sites
- Manage service inventory according to Waters policies
- Issue field service reports daily to document work performed
- Weekly updates and keep calendar up to date
- Maintain sound knowledge regarding the technology and customers' application demands
- Work with Sales team in respect to identifying future business development opportunities and needs for service contract sales and training opportunities
- Ensure that quality system procedures and Health & Safety standards are always adhered to
- Degree BS/Master/PHD in scientific areas such as chemistry, biology, biochemistry or related field of science
- At least 5 years Mass Spec experience, UPLC, HPLC, field service support including installation, performance maintenance and troubleshooting, or MS application knowledge
- Valid Passport/Visa is mandatory
- Ability to perform effective system level troubleshooting
- Effective system level approach to problem solving
- Basic knowledge of GxP and Pharmaceutical Environment
- Computer and acquisition systems experience (Windows, Empower, MassLynx,Waters_Connect, Progenesis)
