- Leader who is responsible for day-to-day account management.
- Oversees the execution of day-to-day service activities of the Aon service team.
- Builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with existing clients at executive levels within the company and leads appropriate resources to address the client's risk/capital management needs.
- Ensures client service team understanding of client needs, service delivery methods, and the economic framework relevant to services delivered. Leads stewardship planning and delivery.
- Drives the renewal process, assembling the appropriate team to develop and implement the client-specific renewal strategy.
- Coordinates with Brokers in the development and delivery of renewal strategies.
- Educates clients in risk management, risk transfer, market issues and relevant insurance trends. Seeks to be a trusted business adviser on all pertinent issues; monitors client happiness; reports and resolves client issues and concerns and reviews client expectations to ensure relationship is mutually acceptable and beneficial.
- Marshals appropriate Aon resources to support clients in unusual circumstances such as large claims, etc, seeking management assistance when required.
- Understands the causes of E&O and adopts practices to reduce Aon’s exposure. Evidence client files with required audit documentation.
- Identifies and generates new and penetration business opportunities across solution lines. Collaborates with Business Developers on new business opportunities.
- Stays current on all relevant industry data and is pro-active in introducing innovative ideas to help clients contemplate risk management with new point of view.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with Risk and Insurance Management or Business-related curriculum.
- Broker’s license preferred or to be acquired within 90 days of start date.
- Insurance and/or Risk Management designations, such as CISR, CIC preferred.
- 5+ years of commercial insurance experience.
- Proven understanding of the insurance business (Property & Casualty) and the assigned clients’ needs as well as all major lines of business.
- Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent consulting and negotiating skills.
- Technically/detail oriented.
- Preferably bilingual
