For Utilities services in the engineering areaWHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:The Technical Part:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering) with five (5) years of Utility Engineering with a focus on system design and project management within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish).
  • EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferable)
  • Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
  • Experience in:
  • Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations governing utility systems.
  • Utility engineering, with a focus on system design and project management.
  • Utility systems and infrastructure.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • SCADA systems and utility monitoring technologies

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
  • Designing and developing utility infrastructure projects.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for projects.
  • Understanding of key utilities operations and critical aspects (chilled water, waste water treatment, clean utilities, steam) to enable equipment selection and installation strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
  • Performing regular inspections and maintenance of utility systems.
  • Oversee the construction and commissioning of utility systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
  • Collaborating with other engineers, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues within utility systems.
  • Preparing technical reports and documentation.
  • Supervising and training junior engineers and technicians.
  • Reviewing and approving construction plans and blueprints.
  • Estimating project timelines and resource requirements.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing service complaints.
  • Technical proficiency to provide guidance on equipment and process selection.
