- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to our restaurant standards, anticipating and addressing guests service needs.
- Serve food and beverage orders to all guests.
- Complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
- Knowledgeable in the Step of Service.
- Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
- Complete closing duties.
- Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of the service area and restaurant.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Check station assigned, prior to opening, for cleanliness of tables and chairs, proper setup of tabletop.
- Have necessary equipment to work with: tray, pen, corkscrew, etc.
- Knowledgeable of all menu items, their garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
- Prepared to answer guest questions about the menu in a direct, concise way.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the supervisor.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
- Hospitality oriented
- Previous experience as an attendant or in a similar role in a restaurant, bar in hospitality.
- Able to handle difficult situations effectively
- Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English)
