DescriptionPosition at Pilgrim'sGENERAL SUMMARY:Manages retail sales of area or establishment. Responsible for the revenue generation for key accounts within a geographic area or market, all branding responsibilities including advertising, marketing programs, pricing strategies and distribution models. Also responsible for the inbound/outbound transportation of goods and materials.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities withing independent retail outlets, small distributors and foodservice restaurants focus on BBQ products.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers, increasing volume, and product mix.
  • Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed volume, revenue, and distribution targets.
  • Increase product penetration and visibility across assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, chefs, buyers, retail operators.
  • Conduct regular sales visits, product presentations, and new product integration discussions with clients.
  • Negotiate contracts in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Provide accurate and timely volume forecast for import products and plant products.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
Education and/or ExperienceDegree: Bachelor's degree in business or related field (preferred)Experience: 2-5 years of sales experience.Language / SkillsBilingual- Spanish and English written & spoken
  • Proven track record in business development and account management
  • Strong knowledge of the local landscape
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationships-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory
