What Accounting contributes to Cardinal HealthFinance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.Accounting establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, completes technical research, safeguards the organization's assets and ensures accuracy of accounting and financial records in accordance with accounting standards.Responsibilities
  • Invoice data entry for indirect payments and freight expenses, including coding and filling in system.
  • Process check runs (two times a week).
  • Process customer deposits.
  • Prepare journal entries and accrual for expenses at closing.
  • Petty cash custodian.
  • Filing of invoices.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 1 year of related experience or Internship/Coop will be considered.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish oral and written.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Able to interact with multidisciplinary groups and departments.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must have attention to detail skills.
