We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable and Payroll Clerk. The ideal candidate will manage the accounts payable process, ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors, and assist with payroll administration. This role requires experience in accounting software, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have a “get-it-done” attitude, with an emphasis on providing reliable customer service both within and outside of the company. You will regularly interact across functional business areas to ensure that you achieve the required company objectives.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process company expenditures accurately and efficiently with an eye towards cost savings opportunities.
  • Verify approvals and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and research discrepancies where needed.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with reconciliations and month-end closing activities related to accounts payable and payroll.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees.
  • Calculate and process employee deductions, including taxes and benefits.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist with payroll reporting and audits as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll administration (Puerto Rico).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • NetSuite or QuickBooks experience
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with intercompany accounting and foreign currencies preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills.
  • High degree of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
