- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and interest
- Assist shoppers with product selection, upselling complementary items to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the sales floor is inviting and organized
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Support retail operations by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring inventory accuracy
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations
- Experience supervising or mentoring team members is advantageous
- Knowledge of merchandising, stock management, and product demos is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail setting while maintaining attention to detail
