Steel and Pipes, Inc., has 1 position available for Civil Engineer Structural Steel Project Manager at Road 1 KM. 27.5, Rio Cañas Caguas, PR . Responsible for the planning, coordination, execution and technical control of projects involving the fabrication of metallic structures, from the design phase until they are delivered to the company's clients. The position requires knowledge of structural standards, procedures followed in construction, and quality control.
Requisitos:
Main tasks include: coordinates structural design of metallic structures with engineers, architects, and contractors, review and approve shop drawings, fabrication details, and "as built" drawings, supervises compliance with AIWS/AWS specifications during the fabrication and installation of metallic structures, controls project schedule and budget, prepares technical and progress reports, RFIs and NCRs, guarantees the source of materials, welding, and weld overlay, coordinates quality control and assurance inspections and related documentation, promotes the improvement of design and installation procedures.
Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in civil or industrial engineering. Experience: at least 48 months prior experience in civil engineering focused on design, fabrication or installation of steel structures.
