- Work with Project Manager to develop a Construction Execution Plan.
- Work with construction firms to define field support requirements.
- Set up job site for pre‑construction activities.
- Lead construction meetings and field coordination sessions.
- Procure required permits and job hazard analysis assessments.
- Attend construction meetings.
- Manage project punch list.
- Review installed materials and equipment.
- Participate in project closeout activities.
- Responsible for oversight of day‑to‑day construction activity and coordination with local site stakeholders.
- Comply with all permitting requirements (e.g., NPDES, CES Plan, DS3, Construction permits).
- Ensure field construction activities are performed per approved design, standards, and applicable codes.
- Ensure proper housekeeping is maintained throughout the project.
- Provide contractor oversight and ongoing monitoring of construction activities.
- Coordinate EHS permitting with area owners and environmental personnel.
- Perform EHS inspections and ensure compliance, including contractor orientation (EHS video, checklist, and test).
- Oversee the welfare and safety of all assigned contractors.
- Confirm that all contractors and subcontractors are trained and qualified for the tasks to be performed.
- Support change control execution and verify documentation against specifications and IFC drawings.
- Upload and maintain all applicable attachments in the Contractor Safety Portal for contractor EHS qualification.
- Ensure daily discussion of attachment PRCEHS‑HSPR‑0000023 Anejo 9B (9B‑1 and 9B‑3), “Contractor Risk Assessment,” with all assigned contractors.
- Generate and maintain an updated project issues list.
- Provide supporting information to the Project Manager for preparation of two‑ to three‑week look‑ahead schedules.
- Verify installed materials and equipment are in conformance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Verify as‑built conditions to ensure consistency with design documentation.
- Participate in commissioning and verification activities.
- Participate in project start‑up activities.
- Coordinate with contractors on warranty‑related work.
- Prior to removal of a CES Plan, coordinate final inspection with environmental personnel or the site SWPP Team to verify effective soil stabilization measures.
- Verify that all substances to be used in the project (paints, oils, refrigerants, etc.) are approved and documented per site and project procedures prior to use.
- Document daily activities and work orders using PRCEHS‑HSPR‑0000023 Anejo 8.
- Ensure all work orders clearly reference the project number and define the scope of work to be performed.
- Ensure contractors and subcontractors are informed of Contractor Safety Playbook requirements, addressed in the project safety plan, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8 years of construction experience, preferably in regulated pharmaceutical or industrial environments.
