Inuity Insurance Company is seeking a highly capable, hands-on General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a small but growing tribal insurance company with administrative offices in San Juan. This is not a purely managerial role. This is a true operator position for someone who is willing to step in, do the work, solve problems, and keep the business moving across sales, claims, service, and administration.Inuity operates a specialized insurance platform serving approximately 20 to 30 exotic and luxury rental car agencies, offering over-the-counter rental insurance solutions tailored to that market. The company is intentionally lean, with a small internal team currently consisting of one sales professional and two administrative assistants. We are looking for a General Manager who can take full ownership of operations from end to end, help build the next phase of growth, and ensure that the company runs in a disciplined, responsive, and professional manner every day.This role requires someone who is equally comfortable managing people, handling claims issues, resolving escalations, supporting sales growth, coordinating administrative workflows, and stepping in wherever needed to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You will be expected to oversee the company's daily operating rhythm, help hire and develop one to two additional sales team members, manage claims and service escalation matters, coordinate with office staff from affiliated entities to ensure administrative support is completed properly, and create the structure and accountability needed for a small company to perform at a high level.This is a core leadership role for someone who wants real responsibility. The right candidate will take ownership over the business, make sure phones are answered, claims are tracked and addressed, agency relationships are supported, internal follow-up is completed, and all operational functions are being handled with consistency and urgency. In a small-company environment like this, success depends on a leader who is practical, highly organized, responsive, and not above rolling up their sleeves to personally handle issues when needed.Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage the day-to-day operations of the company from end to end
  • Oversee claims handling, customer issues, service escalations, and operational follow-through
  • Supervise the current team, including one sales professional and two administrative assistants
  • Hire, train, and help manage one to two additional sales team members
  • Coordinate with staff from affiliated entities to ensure administrative work is completed accurately and timely
  • Ensure phones are answered, requests are routed properly, claims are tracked, and follow-up is completed
  • Support agency relationships and help maintain strong service levels for rental agency partners
  • Build structure, accountability, and process discipline across a lean operating environment
  • Work directly with leadership to improve performance, solve issues, and support measured growth
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in operations management, general management, office leadership, or insurance operations
  • Strong ability to operate in a small-company environment where leaders are expected to do the work, not just delegate it
  • Experience handling claims, escalations, service issues, or insurance-related operations strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Experience supervising small teams and helping recruit or develop staff
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional presence with a practical, no-drama, execution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working closely with ownership and affiliated teams in a highly hands-on role
